The Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue organized an internal inter-dicasterial webinar, on 26-27 January 2021 on the theme: Religious Radicalism: Interpretations and Responses of Christians and Muslims. Christian and Muslim experts and leaders participated in the Conference.

During the meeting, the phenomenon of religious radicalism and violence was discussed, with a particular attention to its causes and methods of dissemination, as well as the efforts and initiatives being adopted to counter and prevent this process. The Conference is part of the ongoing effort of several Offices of the Holy See to understand this disturbing phenomenon and to find ways to cooperate in promoting a culture of dialogue and fraternity.
