Cardinal Péter Erdő, the head of the Hungarian Catholic Church, met Holy See Secretary of State Pietro Parolin in Vatican City on Wednesday.

After the talks, Erdő told state news agency MTI he hoped that Pope Francis would pay another visit to Hungary but added that “it would be too early to talk about actual preparations” for such a visit. “We need to wait a few more months before we can seriously consider when the pope could visit again,” he said.
